Executive Producer

Executive Producer will work closely with a host(s) and deliver a faith based inspirational and informative show.  Great writing, editing, and line producing along with the ability to book interesting guests are the key to this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce daily, hour-long program
  • Produce lineup and line produce live show
  • Write and approve scripts
  • Work with host to book and produce multiple daily interviews both in person and remote via web.
  • Edit video non linear as needed
  • Ability with skillset to contribute on camera is a plus!
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience producing a lifestyle show, lifestyle segments and/or live show or ministry presentations.
  • Ability to use various broadcast tools and software to write, edit and shoot and air program
  • Deadline driven, works well under pressure and the ability to manage production timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Lighthouse Production Manager/Director

The Production Manager/Director will be responsible for facilitating live and recorded Lighthouse TV productions. They will lead the assigned studio crew in order deliver quality content.

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • 2 years minimum directing live and taped programs experience
  • Proficiency with non automated production tools
  • Video switcher experience required
  • Audio board experience required
  • Studio production skills essential
  • Adobe editing fundamental skills
  • Must be able to source and solve equipment problems in the studio and control room
  • Must be able work independently and have a strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work under the regular pressure of live operational deadlines
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements:  

  • Assist with pre-show prep and post-show production and promotions
  • Set up and operate switchers, studio cameras, monitors and teleprompter
  • Verify all light fixtures, props, monitors and set pieces are in position and functioning properly
  • Coordinate and communicate with show Producer and other studio crew
  • Ensure proper mixing and switching of all studio and remote video sources
  • Post record Adobe or similar editing of programs to produce promos and ready for air product
  • Effectively supervise and assign crew members as needed
  • Work with Lighthouse team to coordinate distribution of programs
  • Support master control operations
  • Ability to travel within to the different studios and within the viewing area as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Broadcast Operations Supervisor

Lighthouse TV is in need of a broadcast operations supervisor.  The Broadcast Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing day to day master control operations and supervision of fiber and satellite feeds and working with studio operations. You must possess a working knowledge of ancillary on air equipment such as Satellite receive equipment, CGs, Emergency Alerts, caption encoders, routers, video play out systems, switchers and various networked workstations.

Qualifications

  • Experience of broadcast operations in a professional live media operation environment required.
  • Experience with Masterplay or other broadcast automation play out systems a plus!
  • Create and maintain Master Control logs, and any changes or developments
  • Segment edit of shows as needed
  • Maintain MC drive space and file paths
  • Handle PSAs & PABs for air
  • Send PSIP / Schedule info to TV guide partners
  • Create Logs / keep track of incoming logs
  • Ability to coordinate and backup tech direct programs.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Broadcast engineering background is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of common business software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • This position requires flexibility in schedule and could include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be self-sufficient and have a press-on-regardless attitude.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ensure the overall technical and operational success of multiple stations.
  • Verify that all program and content is available and ready to air, maintain required logs, and uphold broadcast standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned to maintain the operation of a multi-station hub.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in television master control operations
  • Experience or desire to learn computer automation systems, television satellite systems, VTRs, server based ingest and playback systems, Microsoft office products, and file based ingest and playback servers
  • Dependable and highly detail oriented
  • Communicate by written and oral means and work in team environment
  • Be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of computers and an aptitude for operating electronic equipment is preferred
  • Ability to travel within the viewing area as needed
  • Ability to lift, move and assemble studio sets
